I left work a little early today to get some time in the hangar this week. Since I’ve been doing a lot of traveling lately, it’s been tough to make any significant progress on the plate.<\/p>\n

The right elevator has 12 total holes that could not be reached with the hand squeezer.

I had to\u00a0remove a good amount of material from my large bucking bar. This will allow me to set the rivets that are difficult to reach.

I\u00a0used on e pop-rivet on the trialing edge. I put a slight dent in the skin, which will need to be filled in at a later date.<\/p>\n

Lesson learned: always make sure the work piece is rigidly fixed. Don’t try to use your hands to secure the part.

I moved on to the left elevator by by starting to assemble the skin.<\/p>\n
