I started setting the rivets with my pneumatic squeezer, but I switched to back riveting because it produces a much cleaner finish.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/rv7aircraftlog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/IMG_9788.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-2218\" src=\"http:\/\/rv7aircraftlog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/IMG_9788-768x1024.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_9788\" width=\"768\" height=\"1024\" srcset=\"http:\/\/rv7aircraftlog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/IMG_9788-768x1024.jpg 768w, http:\/\/rv7aircraftlog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/IMG_9788-225x300.jpg 225w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 768px) 100vw, 768px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>A few weeks back, I\u00a0ordered a pre-fabricated fuel pickup tube from Van&#8217;s. After installing the elbow, I torqued the B-nut to 100 in-lbs. The standard says you should torque the nut between 75-125 in-lbs. Although Van&#8217;s tells you to use solid rivets to secure the anti-rotation bracket, I just used blind rivets because I was worried about the bucking bar damaging\u00a0the tubing.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/rv7aircraftlog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/IMG_9791.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-2219\" src=\"http:\/\/rv7aircraftlog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/IMG_9791-768x1024.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_9791\" width=\"768\" height=\"1024\" srcset=\"http:\/\/rv7aircraftlog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/IMG_9791-768x1024.jpg 768w, http:\/\/rv7aircraftlog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/IMG_9791-225x300.jpg 225w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 768px) 100vw, 768px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I got the fuel level sensor temporarily installed. I used my new multimeter to ensure the sensor was working properly. At empty and full the multimeter read 245 Ohm and 32 Ohm, respectively. The next big task is sealing all the rivets.
