I applied Krytox to the threads and used my electric drill to install the fasteners. It was a little difficult getting the squeezer in this area because the flange is angled inward.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-2686\" src=\"http:\/\/rv7aircraftlog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/IMG_0911-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_0911\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" srcset=\"http:\/\/rv7aircraftlog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/IMG_0911-1024x768.jpg 1024w, http:\/\/rv7aircraftlog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/IMG_0911-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Vans tells\u00a0you to remove a small amount of material to improve the fit between the spar and the skin. I just used a deburring bit to removed the material.
