It turns out and aluminum I bought was not straight. Also, the work bench sags a little in the middle.\u00a0 Between using the clamps and a long ruler, I was able to mount the angle to an acceptable flatness.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/rv7aircraftlog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/IMG_5088.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-338\" src=\"http:\/\/rv7aircraftlog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/IMG_5088-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_5088\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" srcset=\"http:\/\/rv7aircraftlog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/IMG_5088-1024x768.jpg 1024w, http:\/\/rv7aircraftlog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/IMG_5088-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0in; font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11.0pt;\">After drilling the angle aluminum I primed the wedge. Since I was only priming one part, I used the self-etching primer.<a href=\"http:\/\/rv7aircraftlog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/IMG_5093.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-339\" src=\"http:\/\/rv7aircraftlog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/IMG_5093-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_5093\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" srcset=\"http:\/\/rv7aircraftlog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/IMG_5093-1024x768.jpg 1024w, http:\/\/rv7aircraftlog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/IMG_5093-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I applied Pro-Seal to the wedge and fixed everything with clecos.\u00a0The Pro-Seal had to be cleaned out of a bunch of the countersinks.
