{"id":345,"date":"2015-04-25T16:14:39","date_gmt":"2015-04-25T16:14:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/rv7aircraftlog.com\/?page_id=345"},"modified":"2015-04-25T16:14:39","modified_gmt":"2015-04-25T16:14:39","slug":"july-26-2014","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"http:\/\/rv7aircraftlog.com\/?page_id=345","title":{"rendered":"July 26, 2014"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>After letting the Pro-Seal cure for about a week, I worked on riveting the trailing edge today.<br \/>\nPro-Seal had to be cleaned out of some of the countersinks.<br \/>\nI installed all rivets into one side of the rudder and taped them with rivet tape<a href=\"http:\/\/rv7aircraftlog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/IMG_5145.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-351\" src=\"http:\/\/rv7aircraftlog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/IMG_5145-768x1024.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_5145\" width=\"768\" height=\"1024\" srcset=\"http:\/\/rv7aircraftlog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/IMG_5145-768x1024.jpg 768w, http:\/\/rv7aircraftlog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/IMG_5145-225x300.jpg 225w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 768px) 100vw, 768px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>To actually rivet the parts, I stared by partially setting every tenth rivet. I stated moving to the other rivets with my mushroom set so the entire trailing edge was flush. I need to come back and closely look at each rivet, but I think it turned out pretty good.<a href=\"http:\/\/rv7aircraftlog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/IMG_5152.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-352\" src=\"http:\/\/rv7aircraftlog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/IMG_5152-768x1024.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_5152\" width=\"768\" height=\"1024\" srcset=\"http:\/\/rv7aircraftlog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/IMG_5152-768x1024.jpg 768w, http:\/\/rv7aircraftlog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/IMG_5152-225x300.jpg 225w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 768px) 100vw, 768px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I bought a .75 inch diameter pipe from Home Depot to roll the leading edge.
