The longeron was constrained using the vise and a C-clamp.<a href=\"http:\/\/rv7aircraftlog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/IMG_2436.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-4707\" src=\"http:\/\/rv7aircraftlog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/IMG_2436-768x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"768\" height=\"1024\" srcset=\"http:\/\/rv7aircraftlog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/IMG_2436-768x1024.jpg 768w, http:\/\/rv7aircraftlog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/IMG_2436-225x300.jpg 225w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 768px) 100vw, 768px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The proper bend angle was achieved by comparing the bent longeron to the outer edge of the side skin. I used my digital level to measure the angle before and after the twist. The goal was to achieve a delta of 17 degree.\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/rv7aircraftlog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/IMG_2429.jpg\"><br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-4705\" src=\"http:\/\/rv7aircraftlog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/IMG_2429-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" srcset=\"http:\/\/rv7aircraftlog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/IMG_2429-1024x768.jpg 1024w, http:\/\/rv7aircraftlog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/IMG_2429-300x225.jpg 300w, http:\/\/rv7aircraftlog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/IMG_2429-768x576.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s the post-twist measurement. I&#8217;m 0.1 degrees off, but I&#8217;m considering that acceptable.
