To drill the holes that connect the pedal to the master cylinder, you have to drill the pedal in an unspecified location. The popular way this is accomplished is by using a drill bit to scratch the arc that master cylinder creates as it rotates about its upper constraint. The pedals should be contained in a neutral position during this procedure. In the image below, you can see how the pedals are locked in place with a ruler. A short drill bit was passed through the lower hole of the master cylinder. I&#8217;ll drill the hole in the middle of the tab later.
