I really want to get this thing primed within the next week.<\/p>\n<p>I purchased a variety of spacers from McMaster-Carr to fill the gaps between the canopy frame and the top skin. The spacers had to be countersunk to interface with the dimples in the top skin. To hold the spacers, I used VHB tape. This worked out fine. This is not part of the plans, but it looks like more support of the top skin is needed in this area. Honestly, this portion of the kit is generally pretty sloppy, particularly where the holes are located on the skin and the frame.
