It’s been tough to find time to make significant progress on the airplane, but it’s slowly coming along. I got to the hangar pretty late, but I was able to bust out a little work on the F-705K plate.
To make the 4 degree bend, I clamped the plate to the table an just used a hammer and wood block to gradually make the shape.
I was only able to drill one F-705L shim. I used a combination of masking tape and clamps to hold the parts in place. I’ll bust out the second shim next time I get into the hangar.
