I got the top hinge installed in the pilot’s seat. Unfortunately, while I was drilling the seat stiffener holes, I didn’t realize the holes that align with the hinge are in a slightly different location than the rest of the stiffener holes. I mistakenly cut and drilled a hinge with the incorrect hole pattern before realizing the seat had a different hole pattern.
After drilling the two outer holes, I used my new drill fan to drill the inner holes on the hinge.
Lastly, the hinge was drilled to the the seatback.
