To take a break from the main wing structure, I decided to work on the ailerons.
I marked the stiffener cutting locations.
After lots of cutting and deburring, the stiffeners for one aileron were completed.
I clecoed the stiffeners to the aileron skin and match drilled the parts.
The stiffeners were dimpled using my pneumatic squeezer.
I made a relatively minor mistake on one of the stiffener holes. I accidentally pulled the trigger on squeezer when the dimple die was not fully inserted in the hole. This caused an ugly figure-8 hole. I’m going to sleep on this issue and deal with it tomorrow.
