I made the executive decision to redo the canopy frame. I felt like all the work I had been previously doing was leading to a pretty sloppy product. The fit between the canopy frame and the fuselage wasn’t great. This was a pretty tough decision because this weldment was pretty expensive.
The weldment came in this nice box. The box actually fit the weldment so perfectly it leads me to believe a lot of people redo this part. 
I didn’t actually do any work besides dropping off the frame to the hangar.
