Work on continues on getting the horizontal stabilizer parts ready for assembly.
I bent the flanges on the center reinforcements.
The ends of the reinforcements were tapered per the plans. I used a Dremel for the gross material removal and a file for the precise work.
I started getting everything match drilled to the forward spar. The masking tape was applied to the areas that are not supposed to be drilled at this time.
On the backside of the spar, you can see where I’ve added the doublers. This is part of service bulletin 14-01-31.
