I duburred the rudder bracket and got it clecoed in place.
The next thing Van’s has you do is cut the doubler strips, which will run along the bottom of the rudder.
Here’s the parts after being cut and duburred.
I clamped the strips to the rudder skin so they could be match drilled.
As I match drilled the strip, I installed a cleco into every hole the keep things aligned.
The last thing I did today was dimple the skeleton pieces of the rudder.
