In order to get as much work done as possible, I’m trying to take in little portions of the airplane into work so I can bust out little jobs.

For the inboard center ribs, I used a 1.5 inch hole saw to remove the required material around the rib cutout. This removal of this extra material will accommodate the movement of the control linkage. img_3836

After the holes were cut, I used sheet metal cutters to remove the remaining material between the holes. I still need to get around to smoothing out the edges. img_3840
