I jumped ahead in the plans so I could bust out some easy work tonight. I’m going to install the nutplates to the center section. Here’s the countersunk holes:
I don’t think any other builder has done this, but I decided to prime the exposed aluminum from countersinking. I figure more corrosion protection is only better. I masked off the parts with tape and paper towels and sprayed the flanges with my self-etching primer.
