I made the downward bend on the longerons, which was quite a bit easer compared to the main bend. The longeron was constrained using the vise and a C-clamp.
The proper bend angle was achieved by comparing the bent longeron to the outer edge of the side skin. You can see the 2 edged line up nicely without much constraint.
The longeron twist was the easiest part of the this phase of the project. I used my digital level to measure the angle before and after the twist. The goal was to achieve a delta of 17 degree.
Here’s the post-twist measurement. I’m 0.1 degrees off, but I’m considering that acceptable. The longerons are done!
