I received the stainless steel brake lines from TS Flightlines earlier in the week. These were expensive, but I feel much better about these tubes compared to the crappy plastic tubes Vans supplies with the kits.

The day was focused on painting the interior components. It’s been months since I’ve painted anything–I can’t say I miss it. I spent a little time getting the parts prepped for painting. I removed that extra eyelet on the left seat hinge and riveted on some nutplates.

Here’s all the interior parts I finished painting today. Not shown in the photo is the seat backs, which I also painted.

I knocked out a few random fuselage tasks. I never installed rivets in the holes that join the seat ribs to the center section. I countersunk the holes and primed them.

Here’s the final product. The masking wasn’t great, but it will do.

I also installed the nutplates on the left outer rib. Since these are in close proximity to the wall, I didn’t want to mess with solid rivets. The blind rivet installation went smoothly.
