I decided to redo my vertical stabilizer. When I originally made this assembly, I was pretty clueless about working with sheetmetal and the quality of the build really didn’t meet the expectations I now have for myself. It actually feels great to get away from the fuselage/finishing work and get back to the basics.
I started out the day deburring all the vertical stabilizer parts. I actually found it enjoyable to do some monotonous work for a few hours.
The stabilizer skeleton was assembled and the skin was clecoed in place.
I’ve been a bit down on the airplane build lately. After today, I really feel reenergized and satisfied with the project.
