I’m continuing to plow forward on the riveting of the vertical stabilizer. I got started by riveting the skeleton together. This was done with both the pneumatic squeezer and rivet gun.

I got about half of the rivets installed for the skin. Everything went well with the riveting, but I’m pretty disappointed with the quality of my skin priming finish. It’s frustrating that I’ve been working on this project for ~8 years and I still can’t get a consistent finish. I ended up just covering the Akzo primer with the self-etching rattle can primer. I need to get better at this going forward.
