I drilled the trim tab hinge to the spar. As the plans state, I originally drilled the -2 hinge. The hole distance to the edge of the hinge was unacceptable, so I redid the drilling wit the longer -3 hinge. This is looking much better.
Here’s another shot of that piano hinge.
After assembling the trim tab, I used a rule to check the flatness of the skin. As you can see below, this looks more like a pillow, not a straight wedge. Not good.
I rebent the skin to form a sharper wedge-shape. It’s looking much better now.
