I jumped ahead in the plans and busted out the F-719B Angles. This was a fun side job I got the accomplish before moving back on to the fuselage structure.
I started getting the firewall fitted to the fuselage today. This activity was really time consuming, but it’s getting close. I’ll need to adjust the fit next time I go to the hangar.
To keep the longeron aligned with the skin, I installed the -4 rivets through the holes.
You can see the clamping scheme I used to pull the longeron to the firewall angle. Getting the firewall properly located is a ton of trial and error, but I’m getting close.
