Instead of moving to the fuel tanks, I’m going to finish the left aileron
I match drilled the doubler to the spar
The brackets were match drilled to the spar. I should have finished the hole off with a reamer, but I didn’t. I’ll check out the quality of the hole when I make it to the hangar next time.
The inboard bracket was match drilled.
I match drilled the ribs to the spar.
Using my bending brake to fold over the skin.
I had to replace 2 rivets that join the stiffeners to the skin before folding.
The skins, ribs, spar, and counterweight were match drilled.
To finish off the day, I use my long drill bit to drill the back side of the counterbalance.
