I drilled out a few of the rivets along the main spar
Riveted the top of the main ribs.
Countersunk the spar.
I didn’t install some of the rivets that connect the nose ribs to the spar. I drilled out the bottom nose rib rivets so the spar rivets could be installed. It took a little dexterity, but I got everything done.
I applied a little touch up paint to the bracket holes.
Nut plate screw running torque: 22 in-lbs22+22.5 = 44.5Nuts torqued to 25 in-lbs
I clamped angle aluminum to the trailing edge of the aileron to keep it straight.
I blind riveted the skins to the spar.
I added rivets on either side of the open hole. I’ll patch up the holes with JB Weld.
Besides some minor cleanup work, the right aileron has been finished!
