Today was a little rough. I started out by sealing the rivets on the right tank fuel drain. I made sure to not apply the sealant in a way that would allow water to get trapped in the tank.
It took a bunch of attempts to install all the rivets on the right tank. Vans specifies using all -4 length rivets, but that doesn’t actually work with the higher quality gas caps. It take a combination of 4, 4.5, and 5 length rivets. After several drilled out rivets, I got 10 good rivets installed.
I still need to add sealant around the vent clip.
