I spent most of my day working on the right fuel tank. After getting the tank buttoned up, I had a little more energy to work on the joining plate on the right leading edge.
As other builders have done, I used Oops rivets to secure the nut plates. Oops rivets are required because the sheet metal is so thin. I used a cleco clamp to hold the nut plate while I used my pneumatic squeezer to set the rivets.
Here’s the completed product.
