I applied Pro-Seal to the fuel level sensor doubler and riveted the part to the left baffle.
Using a syringe, I applied a bead of sealant forward of the baffle mounting holes.
One thing I didn’t do on the right tank was apply sealant to the baffle flanges. Van’s doesn’t tell you to do this, but other builders have done it.
Top mount the baffle, I installed cleccoes in every hole.
It was getting late, but I had a little time to install the Z-brackets with pop rivets. I used masking tape to protect the brackets while riveting.
To allow the adhesive to settle around the baffle, placed a 4X4 under the Z-brackets.
