I drilled the end caps on one of the aileron pushrods. To get started, I measured .250 inches from the end of the tube in multiple locations around the tube. I used a piece of tape to form the circumference around the tube. 6 marks were located around the circumference of the tube to identify the drilling locations.
The part was fix to the drill press with a piece of angle aluminum. Match drilling of the parts turned out fine.
