I’m getting really close to bringing the aft and center sections together. The last major task was modifying the longeron to fit around the horizontal stabilizer bars. I used the XXX as a template and marked off the material that had to be removed. I drilled 2 3/32 holes to get nice radii around the cutout.

To remove the remaining material, I used my Dremel and a file. After a little trial and error, the slots turned out great.

I fit the longerons in the aft fuselage while the subassembly was in the normal orientation. The plans tell you to install the longerons while the fuselage is inverted, but I think this worked out better. I had to sand a little material around the tabs on each bulkhead to the longeron would fit properly.

I got the fuselage rotated. This thing is really coming together now!
