I brought the seatback braces into work so I could cut the optional lightening holes. I used my flycutter to remove this material.
The total mass removal came down to ~56 grams, which equals .123 lbm. It’s not but, but everything helps!
On the seatback stiffeners, Vans’ has you remove a section of material that is .040 inches in depth. I used the mill at work on move this material.
