I got the F-652 and F-751 Baggage Bulkheads drilled to the F-706 Fuselage Bulkhead. I accidentally drilled the holes for a #10 fastener, rather than the specified #8 fastener. Fortunately the nutplates have the same rivet hole spacing. I’m just going to buy a few extra #10 nutplates and move forward.
To perform work throughout the interior of the airplane, I cut a section of plywood a clamped it to two of the seat ribs. I’m actually pretty surprised how unstable everything feels when I’m working in there. I wonder how many builders have buckled a few ribs while working on their plane.
I threw one of my seats in the cockpit to check out how it looked against the interior paint. I’m liking this color combination a lot!
