I drilled the nut plate rivet holes in the F-706 Bulkhead. To locate the nutplate, I installed a 10-32 bolt backwards through the part.

I dimpled the rivet holes that mount each nutplate. Usually I like to use Oops rivets for these applications, but the flange is too thin to allow any countersinking.

I realized I made a mistake with the riveting of the nutplates along the centerline of the baggage area. The rivets should pass through the baggage rib and the bottom floor. I only installed them through the baggage rib flange. The #8 screw has a substantially higher stiffness compared to the rivets, so I’m not concerned about the structural integrity caused by the lack of rivets passing through both parts. I’m going to leave this as-is.
