I didn’t actually do any real work on the airplane. I spent the evening moving everything around and freeing up some space in my hangar. These trash bags are full of all the paper that was used to package the fuselage components.
Here’s the current state of my hangar. The organization job isn’t perfect, but it frees up my workspace to the point where I can get back to doing real work on the plane. Over the next 1-2 hangar sessions I want to create a hanging platform above my wings. I’ll use that extra space to store the canopy and cowls. I don’t feel good about having the canopy sitting under the fuselage right now. It would be way too easy to drop something on it.
Before I left the hangar for the night, I moved the shipping crate back in. I’ll chop this thing up next time.
