Today is the Friday before Memorial Day weekend. Before getting out of the office for a few days, I knocked out a little airplane work. The first thing I did was fabricate the F-731 Lift Handle. That was easy.
I moved on to the C-712 Canopy Latch Angles. These parts have a semi-circular portion cutout. To accomplish this cut, I got everything measured out and clamped up the angle to a drill press. I used a hole cutter to get a perfect radius in the part.
Here are the upper and lower latch angles. I need to do a little cleanup on these parts, but they are looking good so far.
